Best Places to Eat in Kanab, Utah
We ultimately chose Kanab as our base camp for our Southern Utah trip because it was centrally located to all of the big attractions like Zion, Bryce Canyon, Grand Staircase, Vermillion, and the Northern Rim of the Grand Canyon. What we didn’t realize is that it was also the best place for food (especially places with vegan options)!
Wild Thyme Cafe
Honestly probably the best food we’ve had while traveling outside of major, urban cities. They pride themselves on garden to table options, which are all delicious. And there are a lot of vegan and vegetarian options.

Peekaboo Canyon Wood Fired Kitchen
After a long day of hiking, it was nice to just sit and relax on a patio and refuel. Located in the Flagstone Boutique Inn, Peekaboo offers artisanal pizza from our wood fired oven along with a full menu of international and locally inspired dishes. They even have brunch on the weekends!

Rocking V Cafe
We’ll be honest, we didn’t eat here because they’re closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays (and that’s when we were in town) but it was definitely the most recommended place to eat by our Airbnb host and other locals.

The Soda Fountain
It would be vacation if you’re not enjoying a nightly dessert (just us?) which makes The Soda Fountain an amazing choice. Located right downtown and in walking distance of most other restaurants and shops, it’s the perfect way to end the day.
